Plunge Arts offers workshops and art programming to students of all ages and experience. We specialize in bringing our own inspiration to audiences outside of the traditional classroom and helping other artists do the same. We provide opportunities for working artists to connect with new audiences outside of their studio through workshops and exhibits.

- Workshops are one time art-making experiences led by our teachers or visiting artists. We offer seasonal workshops on-site in Florence, MA and offer workshops off-site — we can bring our workshop to you.

- Art Programming - we teach and develop longer art units to fit the needs of your population. These units can be tailored to dovetail with an existing curriculum, introduce a particular medium, or fit a theme.

Jennifer Sitron and Rachel Chapman are the cofounders of Plunge Arts. Both Rachel and Jennifer have over 15 years of teaching experience in public and private schools, in after-school programs, summer camps, art retreats and workshops with students from age 4 through 80 years of age. Jennifer and Rachel love to create art inside and outside, with students of all ages, and using all types of materials.

Our Mission

Bringing art out of the classroom and artists out of the studio

I read about the terrific work you are doing with your Girls Inc. girls. Wonderful!
Ashley can’t say enough about the difference you’re making. The girls aren’t the only ones learning new things. So, as a grateful board member, and champion for girls, Thanks, and thanks...
